The reporting-room loop

RadSpeed works beside the system already open on your workstation.

    Select findings

    Dictate as usual, then select the findings that should drive the impression.

  2. 02

    Press Ctrl+I

    The global hotkey copies the selection and asks RadSpeed for a focused draft.

  3. 03

    Review the impression

    The companion uses your chosen paste mode. You stay responsible for every final word.

Fits the workstation you have

Use PowerScribe, another RIS, or any Windows text field.

The companion uses selected text, the clipboard and normal keyboard input. It does not tap the PowerScribe audio stream or require a browser extension.

Choose how the result lands: jump to the impression field, insert after the selection, replace the selection, or paste at the cursor.

Current limits

Know what the companion does before you install it.

It drafts, not diagnoses

RadSpeed formats the selected text. It does not read the images or replace radiologist review.

It needs network access

The workstation must reach radspeed.com.au unless your practice runs a configured self-hosted service.

Jump keys vary by site

PowerScribe templates do not share one universal impression shortcut. You can set the keys your site already uses.

The publisher warning remains

Windows may show an “Unknown publisher” warning until commercial Authenticode signing is complete. RadSpeed update files have separate integrity signatures.

Test the narrow job first

Paste findings. See whether the impression is useful.
